License Agreement

Last updated July 1, 2026

This is the license you agree to when you purchase Leave Localhost. The full, canonical text also ships with the source as LICENSE.md.

One purchase covers your whole organization. There are no per-seat or per-developer fees — buy once and everyone at your company can work on the source. The one thing you can't do is resell or republish the boilerplate itself.

What you can do

  • Build an unlimited number of personal and commercial projects.
  • Modify the source however your projects need.
  • Deploy and sell the applications you build ("End Products").
  • Let everyone in your company or organization work on the source — no per-seat fee.
  • Build End Products for clients, as long as the client receives the finished product and not the Leave Localhost source. A client who needs the source must buy their own license.

What you can't do

  • Resell or redistribute Leave Localhost (in whole or in part, modified or not) as a standalone product or asset.
  • Publish the source publicly — including public or open-source repositories, gists, or package registries.
  • Use Leave Localhost to build a competing boilerplate, starter kit, template, or code generator meant to be resold or redistributed.
  • Share the source with anyone outside your organization who doesn't hold a license.
  • Transfer your license to another person or company.
  • Remove or obscure copyright or proprietary notices, or use the source to train AI/ML models intended to reproduce it.

Ownership

Leave Localhost and its source remain the intellectual property of the Licensor. Your license grants the right to use it; it does not transfer ownership. You own the original code you write and the End Products you ship.

Warranty & liability

Leave Localhost is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Licensor is not liable for any claim, damages, or other liability arising from your use of the Product.

Refunds

Because the Product is delivered as digital source code that can't be returned once accessed, all sales are final and non-refundable, except where a refund is required by law.

Termination

This license ends automatically if you breach it — for example by redistributing, publishing, or reselling Leave Localhost. On termination you must stop using and delete all copies of the source; End Products you've already deployed are unaffected.
